Topics

This feature allows the creation of topics that users can subscribe to. From a business perspective, any In-app Messages and Push notifications can be segmented according to these topics.

To add the Topics feature, click on the following icon in the feature list:

First, you can add a description regarding this feature and what kind of messages will be sent for each topic.

To add Topics, click on the Topics tab, then on the Plus icon. Enter the title for the topic and you can also add a short description. Click Accept.

Any topic can be edited by clicking on the Pencil icon, or removed by clicking on the X next to the relevant item. You can also click and drag to re-arrange your topics

It is also possible to import Topics via CSV and similar formats. File examples are available within Import tab.

You can also add a background image for this feature if required. This can be done within the Design tab.

The topics feature is a very good tool for any business as it can reduce the number of disabled notifications and increase the read rate and relevancy of the messages app users are looking to receive.

Note: The topics feature can be linked to the profile feature allowing users to select and subscribe to their preferred topics during the signup process. This helps the business to send targeted push notifications.

When configuring the profile feature, you have the option to select which fields to include, one of which is the topics integration. This field will automatically present a list of topics that have been created in the topics feature.
