Keyword Tracking in Local SEO
Local SEO is a powerful tool that allows your company to engage in discussions about digital solutions with local businesses. By leveraging Local SEO, you can help numerous business owners enhance their visibility in local searches.
One of the key features of Local SEO is Keyword Tracking, which enables you to shape your SEO strategy based on valuable data. You can identify the specific keywords that are contributing to your clients' rankings on Google organic search and Google Maps. To access this feature, go to Local SEO > Keyword Tracking.
In the Keyword Tracking section, click on 'Edit Keywords.'
Depending on your subscription, the number of keywords you can add varies. Standard edition users can add 3 keywords, while Local SEO Pro users can add up to 15 keywords. Simply click 'Add' to save your selections and initiate tracking. If you require additional keywords, you can purchase them through the "Additional Keywords" add-on.
The Local Grid feature allows you to focus on individual locations and assess your client's business ranking in specific geographic areas. By default, the map radius is set to 1.25 miles, but you can adjust it by clicking on "Edit Keywords" and choosing from options such as 1.25, 2.5, 5, or 10 miles for larger cities.
Furthermore, the Graph section provides a visual representation of the keyword's progress over time. This comprehensive data empowers your company to make informed decisions and optimize your clients' local search performance effectively.
