Connecting your Instagram Account in Social Marketing


We sometimes experience changes in accordance with Meta's policies, which require us to manage accounts differently. As a result, there may be times when you or your client needs to reconnect their Instagram accounts. We have detailed the steps to complete this process below.


Why is this important?

Reconnecting your Instagram account is crucial to continue utilising Instagram in your social marketing efforts. By completing this necessary step, you will be able to access the full benefits of our service, including valuable insights, analytics, and the ability to schedule your posts effectively.


How does it work?

To begin the process, you will notice a prominent banner displayed throughout the platform specifically for our partners and their clients, prompting you to reconnect your Instagram account. This banner can be found in various sections of our product, such as the Overview, Recent Posts, Scheduled Posts, Calendar, Post Performance, and Connect Accounts. However, on the 'Connect Accounts' page, the reconnect button will not be visible as it is located on the same page itself.

Step 1: Click on the 'Reconnect' banner from any location within the product. By doing so, you will initiate the account reconnection process.

Step 2: You will be directed to the Settings menu, specifically the "Connect Accounts" section. Please ensure that you select "Edit connection" to proceed with the reconnection process.

Step 3: Once you have successfully reconnected your Instagram account, the banner prompting you to reconnect will no longer be displayed, indicating that your account is now linked properly.
